Singapore Art Fair 2014

The inaugural Singapore Art Fair in November 2014 will be focusing on art from the Middle East, North Africa and South-east Asia.

The fair, to be held at the Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre, will bring together the work of more than 60 galleries from countries such as Japan, Syria and Lebanon into one space.

Jason Ng, executive director of MP Singapore, one of the organisers of the exhibition, said: “This is an opportune time to launch Singapore Art Fair. We expect it to enhance the value proposition of Singapore as the arts hub in the region. It will be an enclave of artists networking with curators, collectors and art lovers from Asia, and other parts of the world.”

Given its proximity to the rest of Asia and Oceania, and with a network of high-net-worth individuals, Singapore is deemed to be in a strong position to become an art hub and haven for collectors.

Singapore Art Fair 2014 will be held from 27 to 30 November 2014, at the SUNTEC Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.
